Sherene Thomas

Founder & CEO

Sherene Thomas is the Founder and CEO of Conscious Reasoning, a platform created to inspire deeper thinking, transformative dialogue, intellectual exploration, and personal growth. Her vision is rooted in creating an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives can be examined, challenged, and respected while encouraging greater awareness, stronger connections, and more intentional ways of thinking and living.

She is also an accomplished author whose writing explores complex dimensions of human behavior, social structures, personal development, and the forces that influence individual and collective thought. Through her written work, Sherene encourages readers to examine assumptions, confront difficult questions, consider perspectives beyond their own, and think critically about the psychological and societal influences that shape human experiences. Her authorship reflects the same commitment to intellectual curiosity and conscious examination that serves as the foundation of Conscious Reasoning.

Sherene holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has completed the academic coursework required for the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) pathway. Her academic preparation encompasses Applied Behavior Analysis, behavioral principles and procedures, behavioral observation and measurement, behavior assessment and intervention concepts, data collection and analysis, human development, research, and evidence-based decision-making. She is currently seeking a supervised fieldwork opportunity to further develop her applied behavioral experience and complete the fieldwork component of her professional pathway.

Her professional experience also encompasses leadership, mentoring, communication, conflict resolution, customer relations, research, and working with diverse populations. Leadership involvement through the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) has provided additional opportunities to support peer development, strengthen member engagement, and contribute to initiatives centered on leadership and personal advancement.

Through Conscious Reasoning, Sherene brings these areas of experience together—entrepreneurship, authorship, psychology, behavioral science, leadership, and mentorship—to create opportunities for people to examine ideas more deeply and engage with perspectives that may differ from their own. Her work reflects a broader commitment to encouraging critical thought, expanding awareness, strengthening human connection, and empowering individuals to approach their choices and experiences with greater consciousness and intention.

Niesha Franklin

Founding Host

Niesha Franklin is a clinical mental health counseling student, certified life coach, trauma-informed professional, and advocate for healing, growth, and intentional living. Her personal and professional journey has shaped a belief that healing involves more than understanding what happened to us—it also requires the awareness, tools, and conscious reasoning to decide what happens next.

Her areas of interest include trauma, emotional wellness, nervous-system regulation, resilience, and the ways our experiences influence how we think, respond, and connect with others. A passion for nonprofit advocacy and creating empowering spaces further reflects a commitment to helping people grow beyond the circumstances of their past.

She looks forward to learning from diverse perspectives and exploring how conscious reasoning can support more intentional choices in both personal and professional life.
